“Youth L.I.F.T. (Leaders Influencing Future Trends) believes every young person can influence their world. Our mission is to guide youth toward brighter futures by nurturing self-worth, security, and stability. We champion equality, inclusion, and integration across Galway and beyond.”

We’re dedicated to developing confident, compassionate leaders of character through a simple vision: help youth understand their value and empower them to contribute to society. Our programmes center around eight core values: Listening, Positive Attitude, Respect, Competence, Dedication & Determination, Empathy & Understanding, Accountability, and Honesty & Integrity.

Esther Osayimwen

Esther Osayimwen is a mother, mentor, community advocate, and certified Mediator with the Mediators Institute of Ireland (MII). She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in economics & Statistics and Child, Youth & Family Policy and Practice, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Law (LLM General). An experienced administrator and project
manager,.
Core values are Faith, Growth, Equity, and Servant Leadership.

A passionate community development activist and 2024 independent political candidate for Galway City West, Esther is deeply committed to equity, integration, and social inclusion. She believes in the validity of every voice and the transformative power of representation, working tirelessly to amplify the strength and capacity of marginalised and underrepresented groups in building a united, empowered community.

Currently serving as Migrant Support Officer with the Galway Migrant Service (GMS) under SICAP at Galway City Partnership, Esther promotes inclusion in Galway’s diverse communities. Her work focuses on identifying community needs, designing outcome driven projects, and providing vital guidance in areas such as immigration, employment, and family reunification.

As former Chairperson of Africa United Galway (2019–2023), she championed
empowerment, cultural preservation, and intercultural dialogue through initiatives like Africa Day Celebrations and community cafés.

The Founder of Youth L.I.F.T. (Leaders Influencing Future Trends), an NGO empowering underrepresented youth to be seen, heard, and active in shaping their communities.
Through leadership initiatives and civic engagement programmes, she nurtures young people’s talents, confidence, and participation in creating a more inclusive society through anchor Initiatives such as Lead Loud Conference and Youth Multicultural
Festival Galway.
Passionate about equity and integration, she continues to build bridges across communities, inspiring the next generation to lead with purpose and confidence.
